Anna and Bastian Harris talk about their favourite artwork
In The Invisible Collection, people tell stories about their favourite works of art to help the visually impaired to imagine artworks based on audio descriptions. Created in 2018 to include art experts, the initiative is also open for non-experts since 2019. Marres has since collected over 75 stories from story tellers amongst which artists, school children, and elderly people. The initiative continues as part of the EU funded project on sensory learning in primary schools called SenseSquared of which both Marres and Anna Harris from Maastricht University are partners.
